"My first encounter with Amer was listening to his presentation at an annual leadership conference of the Catholic Healthcare Association of Ontario. In the months that followed my colleagues and I could not stop thinking about the inspiring messages he left with us about the power of humility and kindness to create a culture of accountability. We subsequently invited Amer to speak to our organization, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare and our community partners in June 2019, and he accepted! The impact of his presence as we got to know him even more, the simple and powerful messages in his addresses to our front-line staff, physicians, leaders and community partners, continue to resonate with us. As a fellow executive coach, I was deeply touched by Amer’s gift of presence, his kindness and genuine curiosity to everyone he encountered: in 1:1 conversations or in conversation with a room of 50 people, his coaching presence was palpable and galvanizing. He is indeed a gifted and humble teacher, facilitator, coach and new friend."
